Mermaid Hair of My Dreams with Halo Extensions by LUXY HAIR

I am stoked to be writing this today because I officially have the mermaid hair of my dreams! All thanks to Luxy Hair, I now have long, luscious, strawberry blonde locks. With my curly hair it is incredibly hard to find the right extensions to work for me not to mention the fact that I have one of the most obscure natural hair colors in the world. Redheads are far and few between, and strawberry blondes are even less common some say.

Luxy Hair absolutely killed it with the strawberry blonde color in my opinion. It is so natural and not too bright, too blonde, to red or too dark. It is the perfect natural combination that fits my hair to a T.

I was searching and searching for a brand that made quality halo hair extensions that have enough hair to blend well with my curls. When I found Luxy had a great strawberry blonde color + an amazing halo extension bundle I was sold. Luxy Hair has a wonderful Halo collection because it comes with more than just a simple halo. Their 20” halo extensions that I got, come with a 140g Halo and two 20g, 2-clip wefts to add that extra punch. Of course it comes with different sized wires for the halo & extra clips incase you need them. Then I got the 20” volumizer weft as well to add that extra umph to blend the curls better. With layers in your hair, I think this is necessary for a natural look.

If you are a girl with curly - wavy hair like mine, I can honestly recommend these extensions. When I was in high school I had extensions that were beaded into my hair. They were an absolute mess with curly hair, at least for me. It got so tangled and I think the pull it had on my natural hair was bad. That being said, I am so happy that I found Luxy Hair. They have the best clip in hair extensions you could ask for. The ease of the halo + the couple clip ins is so simple and easy to use, plus you don’t have to wear them everyday or during your workouts, sleeping etc, so they last way longer than extensions that are stuck in your hair. Another way to extend the life of the extensions, is to use heat protectant on them. This is especially important when you have curly hair since you have to curl the extensions much more often than someone with straighter hair. My favorite way to curl them is with no heat. I prefer to braid and twist them when they’re wet & just let them air dry. For all of the photos I’ve taken with my extensions so far, I haven’t used heat on them at all. I want them to be curly and beautiful forever! I will forever be using Luxy’s for as long as I have hair!

I have had my hair extensions for 10 days now and I adore them. Unfortunately, with this coronavirus quarantine crap, I have been stuck inside for almost three weeks now, so I haven’t worn the extensions as much as I will once we are living our normal lives. So far, the days I have worn the extensions I have loved them. If you have never worn extensions before, I do think they take a little while to get used to. Once this quarantine is over, I plan on wearing the extensions much more and want to give a more thorough review of the daily use and how they hold up over time. For now, they are amazing.
